The 10-year warranty does not apply to the goods in the following cases:

  • The 10-year warranty is not applicable in case the product was used improperly or in violation of the recommendations listed in the User’s manual. This can include overloading, use of improper cleaning agents, etc.
  • Wear due to standard use is not considered a product defect and therefore not covered by the 10-year warranty. Minor abrasion or altered appearance due to common use are not considered a reason to claim a warranty.

  • The product was already defective when sold (with adequate purchasing discount).
  • Inherent traits of natural materials (e.g. knots, medullary rays, light shading and veneering on wooden products, attraction of dust and hair for textile coating, features of leather, galvanised surfaces, etc.) are not considered defects. Neither are common colour or structural variations in natural or textile materials, varnished or oiled surfaces, typical features of wood, including odour or slight deviations in dimensions of furniture upholstery within allowance.
  • The damage was caused during transportation.
  • Wooden or metal parts are scratched with use.
  • The upholstery is worn by use or stacking of the product.
  • The product is supplemented by an externally supplied electrical housing or component, which is only subject to a two-year warranty.
  • The product is supplemented by an externally supplied cane, which is only subject to a two-year warranty.
  • The product is supplemented by an externally supplied fabric or component, which is only subject to a two-year warranty.
  • Defects due to events beyond the seller’s influence, such as natural disasters, floods or other unforeseeable events.
